What every account gets
There are no feature tiers. What lands on your invoice is decided by your usage, not by a package you have to pick up front.
Account, portal and documentation
One way in for you and your team, with roles, projects and invoices in one place.
gh0stcli with Claude Code or Codex
You describe your goal, your AI assistant prepares the steps, you approve them. You bring the assistant yourself.
Domain, certificates and network rules
Your app is reachable and encrypted without you administering a cluster.
Standard storage
Storage for your app, measured hourly and charged on the size you plan.
Costs in view
Running costs, balance and invoices are in the portal at any time, updated hourly.
Starting credit
EUR 15 to begin with. It appears on the invoice as a price reduction, not as a payment.
Support within 24 hours
A person answers your support request within 24 hours, weekends and public holidays not counted. Availability is best effort and measured publicly.
Work out your cost
Price your month before you create an account
The base fee is fixed. Everything else follows what your app actually uses.
What drives your cost
The base fee is the same for everyone. On top of that you pay for what your app actually uses. Operations are agreed separately, if you want us to take them on.
- Compute, storage and traffic are measured hourly and billed by usage.
- Invoices are paid from your credit first. If it does not cover them, you get an open amount.
- Credit you paid for does not expire. Only the starting credit runs out, after 90 days.
- Managed operations and support are added only when you explicitly agree to them.
If you would rather not run it yourself
Operations and support are agreed separately
For businesses only (within the meaning of § 14 BGB). All prices are net plus VAT. These are services, not price tiers: your base fee and your usage stay exactly as they are, and you add operations per application.

Work outside a package costs EUR 120 net per hour during business hours, billed in 15-minute steps. Migrations are quoted as a fixed price before they start. Business hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 – 17:00, excluding public holidays in North Rhine-Westphalia.
What the price buys
A server costs less. Running it does not.
The honest comparison is not a server against gh0stcloud. It is a server plus the time it takes to run it.
| A server costs less. Running it does not. | A server of your own | gh0stcloud self-service | Operated by us |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cluster, network, TLS certificates | You set them up and renew them | Included, renewed automatically | Included, renewed automatically |
| Operating system and platform updates | You apply them | We apply them | We apply them |
| Backups | You build and test them | Available for your storage | We set them up, keep them and test the restore |
| Monitoring | You build it | Included, separated per organisation | We watch your application |
| Updates of your application | You | You | We |
| A fault at night | Yours to notice and fix | The platform repairs itself first, your app stays yours | The platform repairs itself first, we respond in business hours |
| Your time each month | Hours | Minutes | Only the decisions |
If running servers is something you enjoy and your time is free, a server of your own is cheaper. For most teams, that time is the most expensive line on the bill.
Common questions
What to know before you create your account
What happens to the starting credit?
It lands on your account at sign-up and pays your invoices until it is used up or expires after 90 days. It appears on the invoice as a price reduction, not as a payment.
Can I top up my account?
Yes. You can add credit at any time. Invoices are paid from it first; only if it does not cover the invoice do you get an open amount. Credit you paid for does not expire.
What comes on top of the base fee?
Compute, storage and traffic by usage, measured hourly, plus a platform share for control plane, network access and operations. The calculator quotes that share at its maximum, so your invoice is never above it. Operations, support and administration are added only when you explicitly agree to them.
What is the difference between Individual and Company?
The features are the same and so is the price. Individual is for one person; Company adds company and invoicing details for teams and businesses.
What does it cost if you run an app for me?
Managed Basic costs EUR 29.99 net per app per month, Managed Business EUR 119 net, both on top of the base fee and usage. Apps made of several components are assessed individually, and you hear the figure before it is incurred.
What support do I get in self-service?
A person answers your support request within 24 hours, not counting weekends and public holidays in North Rhine-Westphalia. Availability is best effort: we aim as high as we can and publish what we measure on the status page, but we do not guarantee a figure.
What happens if you are unavailable?
The platform is built to repair itself first. When Falk Hähner is unavailable, Linus Stiehm takes over operations, and for specialist depth we bring in experienced operators from our network. The page on how operations keep running has the details.
Can I leave again?
Yes. Self-service can be cancelled at any time with one month's notice, for individuals and businesses alike. Managed packages have a three-month minimum term. There is no exit fee, and paid credit you did not use is refunded.
When does Enterprise make sense?
When you need committed response times, want help with a migration or with ongoing operations, or have specific technical and legal requirements. What applies is then written into your contract.
Not sure what actually lands on the invoice?
Describe what you are planning in two sentences. You get an assessment back, not a sales deck.
