How to leave gh0stcloud

A provider you cannot leave is not a good provider. This page describes how leaving works, so you know before you start.

Notice periods

• Consumers can terminate at any time with one month's notice, online with the termination button and without signing in.
• Business customers can also cancel gh0stcloud self-service at any time with one month's notice.
• Managed packages have a minimum term of three months and can then be terminated with one month's notice to the end of a month.

Your applications

In self-service, what runs on gh0stcloud is described by your own container images, Helm charts and Git repository. None of it is tied to us. The same images run anywhere containers run, and the same charts on any Kubernetes cluster.

When a managed contract ends, we hand over your data and the configuration of your applications in a form you can use elsewhere. If you want our help moving to another provider, we agree the effort with you beforehand.

Your data

Export your data before the contract ends. After it ends, customer data is deleted once the retention period shown in the portal has passed. Invoices and accounting records are kept for the statutory periods.

Your credit

Credit you paid for and did not use is refunded at the end of the contract on request, to the payment method it came from. Promotional credit, such as the starting credit, is not paid out.

What leaving costs

There is no exit fee. You pay for what you used until the contract ends.
