Reporting Illegal Content

On gh0stcloud, our customers operate their own applications and websites. If you find content there that you consider illegal, you can notify us of it under Art. 16 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act, "DSA"). The procedure is open to everyone.

1. Information we need

So that we can review a notice diligently, it should contain:

1. a sufficiently substantiated explanation of why you consider the content to be illegal
2. the exact electronic location, in particular the full address (URL) and, where necessary, further information enabling the content to be found
3. your name and email address. For notices concerning child sexual abuse material and comparable criminal offences, you may omit this information.
4. a statement that you believe in good faith that the information and allegations contained in your notice are accurate and complete

2. How to send the notice

Send your notice by email to abuse@gh0stservice.com with the subject "DSA notice". The link opens a prepared message containing all required points.

You can write to us in German or English.

3. What happens after your notice

1. We confirm receipt to you by email without undue delay.
2. A human reviews your notice diligently, objectively and in a timely manner. We do not make automated decisions on notices.
3. We inform you of our decision, including information about possible redress.
4. If we take a measure against a customer, that customer receives a statement of reasons under Art. 17 DSA. Our Acceptable Use Policy describes how we proceed in this case.

A notice that contains the information listed above may result in us, as a hosting service, being deemed to have knowledge of the content.

4. Danger to life or safety

If people are in immediate danger, please contact the police immediately (emergency number 110). We pass on information giving rise to a suspicion of a criminal offence involving a threat to life or safety to the competent authorities without undue delay (Art. 18 DSA).

5. Redress

If you disagree with our decision, you can reply to us by email at abuse@gh0stservice.com; we will then review the case again. Independently of this, you can bring the matter before the ordinary courts or lodge a complaint with the Bundesnetzagentur (Federal Network Agency) as Digital Services Coordinator: www.dsc.bund.de.
